Architect Albert Kahn made a significant contribution to Detroit through his iconic work. Twenty-two of Kahn’s designs are the subject of a free walking tour around Downtown Detroit this Saturday, September 19. The two-mile, 35-minute, self-guided tours will run 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, with staff from Albert Kahn Architecture stationed along the way to answer questions.

The firm also is proud to introduce its 125th Anniversary Albert Kahn interactive map highlighting Kahn designed buildings, for use on Saturday’s tour, or anytime you want to explore the celebrated architect’s projects in Detroit and around the world: https://viewer.mapme.com/kahn-legacy-projects

Participants are asked to register in advance, and wear masks and practice social distancing while on the tour. The tour is being offered in conjunction with Design Core Detroit’s ‘Detroit City of Design’ event. For more information: https://designcore.org/event/walking-tour-albert-kahns
