Ralph and Jeanne Graham Receive Michigan Architectural Foundation’s Leadership Award...
Many of us would like to honor colleagues, friends or family as a way of cementing forever their values, relationships or contributions to architecture. There are a few options and the requirements are simple.
You may name the scholarship as you wish. The MAF policy is that a maximum 4% of an endowed fund may be distributed in a given year. Today, the minimum pledge amount is $30,000 – a $1200 per year scholarship. A Restricted Fund Agreement is required.
You may designate a specific program or purpose for a fund. The minimum pledge amount for the fund is $50,000. However, you may start with a lesser amount and work toward the total endowment. The minimum starting balance is $30,000, if you commit to achieving the endowed target over a 5-year span. A Restricted Fund Agreement is required.
You may designate the MAF in your will. Upon receipt of the amount, a Fund will be established pursuant to your Restricted Fund Agreement.
If you are interested, you may contact an officer of the Foundation to receive the Restricted Fund Agreement and to discuss your goals and details for the endowment.
