MAF’s annual golf outing fundraiser is a key source of investment and support for the $32,500 a year granted in MAF architecture student scholarships. The event also supports MAF’s architecture-based educational and awareness programs, including K12 programs and Architecture Awareness Grants.
Event Features
Golf Registration includes 9-hole scramble, lunch, putting contest, and an Afterglow Reception. Afterglow Reception entertainment includes the Silent Charity Auction and Grand Prize Putting Contest. Winner receives a one (1) week stay at a Luxury Florida Condominium.
Front and Back Nine foursomes will be teamed to create a team score, and top finishers will qualify for a blind draw for prizes. Honorary Captains have also been invited and will be available to socialize and play golf (as part of a sponsorship package).

The golf outing also features a silent charity auction, which is the kickoff for MAF’s annual Auction for Education. (MAF’s Auction for Education is also held as a live bidding event during the annual AIAMI/AGC Midsummer conference in early August). The auction helps support MAF’s architecture-based K-12 educational programming, and other architecture-related programs. Programs benefitting from Auction for Education proceeds include NOMA Detroit’s Project Pipeline Camps; MAF’s ‘ArchiTreks’ and ‘Architecture: it’s Elementary!’ programs; and Architecture Lectures, Exhibits, Books, Design Competitions, and other programs that benefit from MAF’s Architecture Awareness Grants.
