NOMA (National Organization of Minority Architects) Detroit will host its popular FREE Project Pipeline summer architecture camp August 2-6, 2021, from 10 am-3 pm daily. Due to ongoing COVID-related safety concerns, this year’s camp will again be online only. This year, NOMA Detroit’s program will be hosted by the midwestern chapters of the National Organization of Minority Architects.
All students entering grades 6 -12 are eligible. Campers will be split into age-appropriate groups for the duration of the camp when necessary. Apply now through Monday, July 12.
The mission of NOMA’s Project Pipeline Camp is to empower young people to affect change in their community through design. By connecting young people to real world architects and planners, NOMA fosters the next generation of design professionals, civic leaders, and change makers, and advocates for fellowship, equity, and excellence in design.
NOMA Detroit’s Project Pipeline Camps have been supported annually by MAF’s Architecture Awareness Grants since their inception.
