Thanks to our generous donors for supporting MAF’s first of two annual Auction for Education events, which took place at the 2023 MAF Fore a Great Cause Golf Outing on May 22. The event was a
tremendous success!
The second MAF 2023 Auction for Education event is fast approaching and will be held during the AIA Michigan / AGC Michigan Midsummer Conference at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island (August 3-4). As
in past years, MAF will have a variety of unique trips, golf packages, sporting event tickets, artwork, dining certificates, and of course, the ever-popular selection of quality wines for bid.
MAF’s Auction for Education helps us support our mission, “Advancing Awareness of How Architecture Enriches Life”, accomplished through education, funding, and connections with our donors, supporters, and the public. Through the auction’s success, MAF has built our endowment, allowing us to support architecture-based physical and digital publications and films; programs for young imaginations including books and STEAM-based video activities; and an architecture-based curriculum for teachers. MAF’s Damian Farrell Architecture Awareness Grants, which are also supported by auction proceeds, engage the public in dialogue and appreciation of architecture.
