Do you love taking photos of Michigan architecture as much as we do? Want the chance to see your photos (and photo credit) featured on MAF’s website and social media? What about the opportunity to win some prize money too?
By popular demand, MAF is proud to announce the deadline for its “Architecture Inspires” photography competition has been extended to September 15!
MAF invites and challenges anyone with a camera to show how ‘architecture does it’ to motivate, inspire, and connect with people. We are looking for those one-of-a-kind inspirational images showing a unique relationship between people and buildings, and demonstrating how architecture enriches life. All photos must contain some representation of architecture and people from places in Michigan.
Judges will award winners for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes as follows:
FIRST PRIZE: $1,000
SECOND PRIZE: $750
THIRD PRIZE: $500
HONORABLE MENTION: $250
Don’t have professional photography equipment? No worries! Use your cell phone camera and your love of architecture to capture the winning image.
The entry fee is $10 per photographer. Each photographer can enter up to 10 photos for the single $10 fee, as long as they work within the rules of the competition. All submissions must be uploaded online to the MAF website by 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 15th, 2022. Click here for more information.
