Want the chance to see some of Michigan’s most celebrated homes decorated with their holiday best? Attend one of this year’s upcoming holiday home tours around the state. You will have the chance to see examples of Michigan’s most coveted and historical residential architecture, while enjoying the festive holiday spirit and unique experiences offered via these tours.
51st Annual Boston-Edison Holiday Home Tour
Date: Saturday and Sunday, December 13 and 14, 2025, 9:00 AM – 6:40 PM EST
Where: Historic Boston-Edison Neighborhood, 2701 Chicago Blvd, Detroit, MI 48206
Enjoy both a bus and walking tour exploring the beautiful Boston-Edison Neighborhood, where you will witness the timeless elegance of these architectural gems. The tour will include both interior and exteriors of these homes. You can also explore the brand-new Winter Wonderland Marketplace, which features curated local vendors offering unique gifts and holiday treasures.
A Ford House Christmas
Dates: November 28 – December 31, 2025, Times vary depending on tour selected

Appreciate the beautifully decorated Ford Family House with a festive tour of the historic grounds and home. This home was once occupied by Edsel and Eleanor Ford, son and daughter-in-law of Henry Ford. Designed by Albert Kahn, the 1927 home features stone roofs, lead-paned windows, vine-covered walls, and expansive gardens, all located on the shore of Lake St. Clair. Two different types of tours are being offered this year.
Home for the Holidays: Experience the joy of the season with Home for the Holidays at Ford House, which features a serene, one-mile walk through lighted gardens, historic architecture, and the elegantly decorated Main Residence.
Holiday Main Residence Guided Tour: Travel back in time and celebrate the season with the Ford family. On the Main Residence Holiday Guided Tour, you will step inside their historic lakeside home, decorated in the understated holiday style of Eleanor Ford. Rather than over-the-top displays, Eleanor preferred gentle greenery, soft candlelight, and carefully chosen accents that created a warm and welcoming atmosphere while highlighting the home’s beauty.
Hackley and Hume Houses Holiday Tour

Experience the spirit of the holiday season and learn the history of Victorian holiday traditions at the Holiday Tours of the Hackley and Hume Houses. The Queen Anne-style Victorian homes once belonged to Muskegon lumber barons Charles Hackley and Thomas Hume and are a landmark in Muskegon. They are located along West Webster Avenue and Perry’s Pines will be selling trees and wreaths in the courtyard during tour hours throughout the holiday season.
Cadillac Garden Club Holiday Home Tour
Date: Saturday December 6, 2025, 10am – 3pm
Where: Cadillac, MI (Tickets available at Brinks Art & Frame, 112 S. Mitchell, or Horizon Books,115 S. Mitchell, Cadillac)
Tour four of Cadillac’s beautiful and unique homes representing the 1880’s to the present day, which will all be decorated for the holidays by the Cadillac Garden Club. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

The Holiday Walk is a self-guided indoor tour featuring incomparable holiday sights and decorations inside the 110-room estate. The tour features more than 50 magnificent trees, flickering fireplaces, and lights galore.
Alden B. Dow House Holiday Tour
