Banicki Bacchus Bash

John and Kathy Banicki built great relationships, enjoyed people, and cherished a robust social life. They have been active in and generously supportive of the design and construction community for over 50 years.

The Michigan Architectural Foundation offers an endowed architecture student scholarship honoring Katherine, and John, in his memory. To support the scholarship, we host this annual experience that combines relationships, wonderful architecture, fine wine and culinary surprises, just as John and Kathy have done over the years.

The 2020 event has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Please join us for the 2021 event.

Pram Acharya, owner of Esperance Wine Shop and Café in Charlevoix and former sommelier at the Golden Mushroom and Tapawingo, will present a wine culture education event. This is more than a tasting. It includes his selected wines from Italy, paired with appetizers at intimate tables of six in an amazing space. You will learn about the history of Italian wine while discovering new wines you can both enjoy and afford.
